Government-Led Inter-Agency Activities Conducted by DIA
As a trusted local partner, DIA conducted a series of focus group discussions (FGDs) and community sessions as part of government-led inter-agency activities.
The sessions gave women and other community members a space to share their experiences, needs and ideas. Their voices help government agencies and development partners plan services that truly reach marginalised households.
Bridging policy and practice
DIA's role is to bridge the gap between national policy and community practice: bringing rights-based commitments to the grassroots and bringing community voices back to decision makers.
