Promoting Hygiene and Safe Motherhood in 2025

Simple habits save lives. In 2025 DIA organised Global Handwashing Day activities with schoolchildren, teachers and community members, demonstrating proper handwashing and explaining why it matters for preventing disease.

DIA also observed World Safe Motherhood Day 2025 with a colourful rally and discussion meeting, bringing women together to talk about maternal health, antenatal care and safe delivery.

Health starts in the community

Alongside these events, our health-oriented yard meetings reach marginalised families with information on hygiene, nutrition, safe water and sanitation, and how to use government health services.
