Disability Inquisition Activities (DIA) (দিয়া) started in January 1997 as a voluntary organisation in Bishoykhali, Maharajpur Union, Jhenaidah Sadar. Today it is a national-level, non-profit organisation working for persons with disabilities, women, children, adolescents and youth across Bangladesh.

What is DIA BD?

DIA BD (Disability Inquisition Activities, DIA) is a national-level, voluntary, non-profit organisation founded in January 1997 at Bishoykhali, Jhenaidah. We work for the rights, dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities, women, children, adolescents and youth.

Is DIA a registered organisation?

Yes. DIA is registered with the Department of Social Services (Reg. No. Jhenai-274/2000, 12 December 2000). You can see our registration details on our About page.

Where do you work?

Our head office is at Bishoykhali Bazar, Jhenaidah Sadar, Jhenaidah. We also have offices in Dhaka, Jashore (Monirampur), Bagerhat (Morrelganj) and Satkhira (Shyamnagar).

How can I donate?

How are donations used?

Donations fund our program activities, such as assistive devices, education support, youth training, health awareness and emergency relief. You can ask for your gift to support a specific program, and we are happy to report back on how it was used.
